Indian Chef in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

We are seeking an experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing authentic Indian dishes for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and a deep understanding of Indian cuisine.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menu items based on traditional Indian recipes and ingredients
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes including curries, tandoori, biryani, and more
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner and meet quality standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff to maintain consistency in food preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu items or make changes to existing ones
- Participate in regular meetings with management to discuss menu ideas, feedback, and any other relevant issues

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Indian Chef or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create new dishes while maintaining traditional flavors
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
- Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Candidates with previous experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East will be given preference

Salary:
This position offers a salary of 1000$ per month along with additional benefits such as accommodation, transportation, health insurance, and annual leave.
