Head Chef
We are looking for a talented and experienced Head Chef to join our team in Jeddah. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and maintaining high quality standards. You will also be responsible for managing and training our kitchen staff, ensuring a clean and organized work environment, and maintaining food safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Create innovative and appealing menus that meet the preferences of our customers
- Oversee food preparation and cooking to ensure high quality standards are met
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Ensure proper storage and rotation of food products to maintain freshness
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Oversee inventory management to control costs and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a fast-paced restaurant setting
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with staff and management
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary: 1600$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
City: Jeddah (preference for Kenyan or foreign nationals with relevant experience)
