Interpreter/Translator - Kaunas, Lithuania



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter/Translator to join our team in Kaunas, Lithuania. As an Interpreter, you will be responsible for providing high-quality interpretation services between English and other languages for our clients in various settings such as meetings, conferences, and events.

Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely interpretation services between English and other languages
- Act as a liaison between clients who do not speak the same language
- Translate written documents as needed
- Ensure confidentiality and accuracy of all interpreted information
- Prepare for assignments by researching relevant terminology and materials
- Maintain professional demeanor and adapt to different communication styles
- Manage time effectively to meet tight deadlines

Requirements:
- Native or near-native proficiency in both English and another language (Indian preferred)
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both languages with strong listening skills
- Proven experience as an Interpreter or Translator (experience working with Indian languages is a plus)
- Ability to work well under pressure and in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings and weekends if needed
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity to different customs and practices

Salary:
Starting salary will be 1000$ per month with potential for growth based on performance.

Location:
This position is located in Kaunas, Lithuania. While we welcome applications from individuals of all nationalities, proficiency in Indian languages is preferred.
