Network and Systems Administrator

As a Network and Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our company's computer network and systems. You will ensure the smooth functioning of our network infrastructure, including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and other hardware devices. Your role will involve troubleshooting network issues, implementing security measures, and overseeing system upgrades and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the performance of our company's computer systems and network to ensure smooth functioning.
- Troubleshoot any network or system issues that arise and provide timely resolution.
- Implement security measures to protect our network from potential threats.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, email addresses, and passwords.
- Install and configure software applications as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all network configurations, hardware inventory, and software licenses.
- Oversee system backups and disaster recovery plans.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement new technology solutions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in network technology.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network or Systems Administrator.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP), hardware devices (servers, routers), operating systems (Windows/Linux), and security systems (firewalls).
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Salary: $1800 per month

Location: Lahore (open to all genders)

Type: Full-time (without accommodation)
