Contract Architectural Designer - Alta, Norway


We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Architectural Designer to join our team in Alta, Norway on a contract basis. As an architectural designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional designs for various projects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in architectural design and possess strong technical skills in drafting, 3D modeling, and construction documentation. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Accommodation is not provided for this role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed architectural designs for commercial and residential projects
- Create accurate 2D and 3D models using relevant software
- Produce comprehensive construction documents including plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Collaborate with team members to ensure design meets client's requirements and budget constraints
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assist with project management
- Stay updated on industry trends and standards to ensure designs are innovative and compliant
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address questions or concerns

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in architectural design
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant software
- Strong technical skills in drafting, 3D modeling, and construction documentation
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate designs within tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with team members
- Excellent communication skills in English (Norwegian language proficiency is a plus)
- Experience working on commercial or residential projects is preferred

Salary:
This is a contract position offering a competitive salary of 1400$ per month based on experience and qualifications.
