Quality Assurance Engineer
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in Akron. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will work closely with the development team to identify and report any bugs or issues, as well as suggest improvements for optimal performance. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1700$, suitable for Canadians looking for English-speaking jobs without experience requirements. Our company also provides free visa and ticket for non-local candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on software products
- Identifying and documenting any bugs or issues found during testing
- Collaborating with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for improvement
- Developing test plans and cases based on project requirements
- Participating in code reviews to ensure quality standards are met
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven experience in software testing/quality assurance
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium or Appium
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
