Junior Fitter - Braga, Portugal


We are a well-established engineering company seeking a Junior Fitter to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Junior Fitter, you will assist in the assembly and installation of mechanical components for various projects.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation and assembly of mechanical components according to technical drawings and specifications
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of work
- Communicate with team members and supervisors regarding project progress
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical training or apprenticeship in mechanical assembly or fitting preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely
- Good physical dexterity and strength for handling heavy equipment
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluent in Portuguese (verbal and written)

Salary:
1100$ per month (based on 40 hours per week)

Contract job:
This is a full-time contract position with the possibility for long-term employment based on performance.

Braga, Portugal

Note:
This position does not include accommodation. Candidates must have their own housing within commuting distance of Braga.
