Mechanical Fitter (Braga, Portugal)


We are hiring a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Braga, Portugal. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing mechanical systems and machinery. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly and maintenance, as well as possession of a biometric passport.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
- Install new machinery and equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance on existing machinery
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues
- Ensure all work is completed accurately and efficiently

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude with an understanding of technical drawings and schematics
- Ability to use hand tools and operate power tools safely
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects if required
- Knowledge of biometric passports is preferred but not required
