Junior Librarian in Kaunas, Lithuania

As a Junior Librarian in Kaunas, Lithuania, you will be responsible for assisting with the organization and management of library resources and services. This role requires a passion for books and information, as well as strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key duties include:

- Assisting with the selection, acquisition, and cataloging of library materials
- Maintaining accurate records of library resources and circulation
- Providing reference services to library patrons and assisting with research inquiries
- Organizing and shelving books and other materials according to the library's classification system
- Participating in outreach programs to promote library services to the community
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of special events or programs
- Collaborating with other librarians to develop new services or improve existing ones

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field
- Strong knowledge of library systems and technology
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working in a library setting or customer service role
- Familiarity with digital resources and online databases
- Fluency in a second language

Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

Working hours: Part-time (20 hours per week)
