Job Title: Contract Instrument Technician


We are a leading energy company based in Alta, seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Instrument Technician to join our team. This is a contract position with visa sponsorship available for all nationalities.

As a Contract Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various instruments and control systems used in our energy production facilities. This includes calibration, troubleshooting, and conducting preventive maintenance on equipment such as sensors, transmitters, and controllers.

To excel in this role, you must have prior experience as an Instrument Technician and be familiar with various types of instruments and control systems used in the energy industry. A strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair instruments and control systems used in energy production
- Conduct calibration checks on sensors, transmitters, controllers, and other equipment
- Troubleshoot issues with instruments and control systems to identify root causes
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues or concerns to supervisors
- Adhere to safety protocols while working with electrical equipment

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in the energy industry
- Familiarity with various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, thermocouples, flow meters, etc.
- Knowledge of control systems such as Distributed Control Systems (DCS) or Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC)
- Ability to read technical diagrams and schematics
- Strong understanding of electrical and electronic principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work on a contract basis with visa sponsorship available for all nationalities
