Freelance Web Designer


We are hiring a talented and creative Freelance Web Designer to join our team in Funchal, Portugal. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that meet the needs of our clients. You should have experience in graphic design, web development, and be proficient in coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing their previous work and a keen eye for detail. This is a freelance position with a salary of 1600$ per month. Applicants must have their own accommodation in Funchal.

Responsibilities:
- Design and develop websites based on client requirements
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new projects
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure efficient implementation
- Optimize website designs for mobile responsiveness
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
- Conduct user testing to gather feedback and make necessary improvements

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role
- Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other coding languages
- Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress)
- Excellent visual design skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred:
- Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design or related field
- Experience working on e-commerce websites
- Knowledge of SEO principles
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles
