Executive Chef


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Kolding, Denmark. As the head of our kitchen, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a menu of innovative and delicious dishes that reflect our restaurant's style and vision. You will also oversee all aspects of food preparation, including sourcing ingredients, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and the ability to lead and inspire a team.

Responsibilities:
- Develop creative menus that showcase the best of local and seasonal ingredients
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, ensuring quality and consistency
- Manage inventory levels and control food costs
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Ensure all food safety guidelines are followed at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to plan special events or promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment
- Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in handling food safely
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate employees to perform at their best
- Creative mindset with a passion for experimenting with new flavors and techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary package of 1000$ per week for this full-time position.
