Cashier (Mecca, Saudi Arabia)



As a Cashier in our busy retail store in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, you will be responsible for handling financial transactions and providing excellent customer service to our diverse clientele. You will work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth shopping experience for our customers. This position does not require proficiency in English and is open to foreigners without previous experience.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, efficient service at the cash register
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments and issue receipts
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure shelves are properly stocked and displayed
- Assist with inventory management by restocking products as needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, exchanges, etc.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training is a plus
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately; previous cash handling experience is an asset
- Excellent communication skills; fluency in English is not required but is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly demeanor with a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
