Junior Android Developer

We are currently seeking a talented Junior Android Developer to join our team in Beer-Sheva. As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new mobile applications for the Android platform. Your main task will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. You will also be involved in bug fixing and improving application performance.

Responsibilities:
- Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Work with outside data sources and APIs
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proficient in Java and Kotlin programming languages
- Experience with Android SDK, third-party libraries, and APIs
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English

Preferred qualifications:
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Knowledge of popular third-party libraries such as Retrofit, OkHttp, Dagger 2
- Experience with unit testing using JUnit or Mockito
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bitrise
