Heavy Equipment Operator
We are a construction company based in La-Condamine and we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As an equipment operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, backhoes, and loaders to assist with construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company procedures and regulations
- Conduct pre-operation checks on equipment and ensure proper maintenance is performed
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met
- Follow project plans and blueprints to determine proper equipment usage
- Use equipment to excavate, grade, level, or move materials as needed
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols on job site at all times
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating heavy equipment in a construction setting
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and blueprints
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in outdoor environments for extended periods of time
Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1200$ per month for this full time position.
Location:
This position is located in La-Condamine. While preference may be given to local candidates, we welcome all qualified applicants regardless of nationality or location.
