Data Mining Analyst



As a Data Mining Analyst, you will be responsible for extracting and analyzing large amounts of data to identify patterns and trends. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work with complex data sets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights and recommendations that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and clean large datasets from various sources
- Develop and implement data mining strategies
- Identify patterns and trends in data using statistical methods
- Create visualizations and reports to present findings to stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven insights
- Identify opportunities for process improvements based on data analysis
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data mining techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field
- Proven experience in data mining or analysis role
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R programming languages
- Experience working with big data tools such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information accurately
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner

Location: Faroe Islands (Accommodation provided)
Salary: 1100$ per month (Part-time)
Visa sponsorship available for international candidates (Students preferred)
