Roofing Technician



We are a reputable roofing company based in Akron, seeking an experienced and skilled Roofing Technician to join our team. As a Roofing Technician, you will be responsible for installing and repairing various types of roofs on residential and commercial buildings.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect roofs for damage and determine the best course of action for repairs or replacements
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific areas
- Install shingles, tiles, or other roofing materials according to manufacturer's instructions
- Repair or replace damaged or missing shingles, tiles, or flashing
- Seal any gaps or cracks in the roof with caulking or other sealants
- Ensure proper ventilation in attics and roofs
- Follow all safety protocols while working at heights

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in roofing installation and repair
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of various roofing materials and their installation techniques
- Experience working with hand tools and power tools
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
Salary for this position starts at $1000 per week, with potential for raises based on performance.

Location:
This position is based in Akron. Candidates who are willing to relocate will also be considered.
