Instrument Technician
An established manufacturing company in Eldoret is seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in instrumentation and control systems. This position offers a competitive salary of 1000$ per month, as well as accommodation, free visa, and ticket for foreigners. English speaking candidates from Egypt are preferred, but all nationalities are welcome to apply. This is a full-time position with potential for growth within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment
- Install, calibrate, and repair various types of instruments such as pressure gauges, flow meters, temperature sensors
- Program and configure control systems for efficient operation
- Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure smooth operation of production processes
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and order replacements as needed
- Adhere to safety protocols at all times
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as an Instrument Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, instrumentation principles, and control systems
- Familiarity with SCADA systems is preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
