Entry-Level Accountant in Porto, Portugal


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Accountant in Porto, Portugal. As an entry-level accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and preparing financial reports. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1200$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Accurately input and maintain financial data in the company's accounting software
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing and payment processing
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and monitor account balances
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Help ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects accurately and on time

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be legally authorized to work in Portugal without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is a plus but not required
- Fluency in Portuguese is preferred but not required
