Milling Machine Operator
Location: Pula, Croatia


We are looking for a skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Pula. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating milling machines to produce precision parts and instruments. The ideal candidate should have experience operating milling machines, be detail-oriented, and have excellent technical skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines according to specifications
- Read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications and tooling instructions
- Adjust machine controls to achieve desired cutting speeds, feed rates, and depth of cuts
- Verify dimensions of finished workpieces using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or defects in products
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure they are in good working condition
- Troubleshoot issues with the machine and make adjustments as needed
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of machining processes and ability to read blueprints
- Proficient knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, etc.
- Detail-oriented with excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
