Senior Architect



As a Senior Architect, you will play a critical role in the design and development of architectural projects in Braga. With at least 5 years of experience in the field, you will be responsible for managing all phases of the design process, from concept development to construction administration. Your expertise in building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design principles will ensure that our projects are both functional and visually appealing.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop design concepts
- Leading a team of architects and designers to create detailed drawings and specifications
- Conducting site visits to ensure construction progress aligns with design plans
- Reviewing project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion within budget constraints
- Identifying potential issues and providing solutions to ensure successful project delivery
- Providing mentorship and guidance to junior team members

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed architect
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other design software programs
- Extensive knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainable design principles
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members
- Proven track record in managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:

- LEED accreditation or other sustainability certifications
- Experience working on commercial or public sector projects in Braga or Portugal
Salary: $1800 per month (negotiable based on experience)
