An established IT company in Akron is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information technology, with experience in managing teams and implementing new technologies. As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our company's technology infrastructure, including hardware, software, and network systems. Your primary goal will be to ensure that our technology operations run smoothly and efficiently, while also staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and lead our team of IT professionals
- Develop and implement strategic plans for our company's technology needs
- Evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all technology systems
- Ensure data security and backup procedures are in place
- Stay informed about new advancements in the IT field and make recommendations for their implementation

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in information technology management
- Experience managing a team of IT professionals
- Strong knowledge of hardware, software, network systems, and cybersecurity protocols
- Familiarity with project management methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proven problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Industry certifications such as PMP or CISSP
