Data Mining Analyst

The Data Mining Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and interpreting large sets of data to identify trends, patterns and insights that can be used to make strategic business decisions. They will work closely with various teams to gather data, develop data models, and create reports and visualizations to present findings. The ideal candidate must have a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex data in a clear and concise manner. This is a full-time position based in Khanpur with a salary of 1700$. This role does not provide accommodation or visa sponsorship. Students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
- Collect and analyze large datasets from various sources using advanced data mining techniques.
- Develop data models and algorithms to identify patterns and trends within the data.
- Create reports and visualizations to present insights in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
- Continuously monitor and improve the quality of data used for analysis.
- Stay updated on industry trends in data mining techniques.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Mining Analyst or similar role.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or R for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.
- Experience with statistical analysis methods such as regression, clustering, decision trees etc.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information in a clear manner.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field.
- Experience working with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Knowledge of machine learning techniques for predictive analytics.
