Part-Time Preservation Architect in Khanpur, Pakistan
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team on a part-time basis in Khanpur, Pakistan. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving and restoring historic buildings and structures, ensuring they maintain their historical integrity while also meeting modern building codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of historic buildings to determine their condition and preservation needs
- Develop preservation plans and strategies for restoration projects, considering budget limitations and historical significance
- Coordinate with construction teams to ensure proper implementation of preservation plans
- Research historical documents and materials to inform restoration decisions
- Monitor progress of restoration projects and make necessary adjustments as needed
- Collaborate with local authorities, historians, and community members to ensure preservation efforts align with local cultural values and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in historic preservation or restoration projects
- Strong knowledge of local heritage laws and building codes
- Ability to read architectural drawings and blueprints
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills
Salary:
The salary for this part-time position is $1500 per month.
