As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, cataloging and classifying materials, assisting patrons with research and reference inquiries, and providing excellent customer service. You will also be involved in planning and implementing various library programs and events for all ages.

The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, has strong communication skills, and is knowledgeable about current trends in literature. Prior experience working in a library setting is preferred. This position offers a competitive salary of 1200$ per month along with accommodation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the library's collection of books, magazines, audiovisual materials, and other resources
- Catalog and classify new materials using appropriate systems
- Assist patrons with research inquiries and provide reference services
- Plan and implement engaging programs and events for all ages
- Maintain the library's online presence through social media platforms
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services and improve existing ones
- Ensure that the library is well-stocked and organized at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to all patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Norwegian (preferred)
- Knowledge of current trends in literature and technology
- Prior experience working in a library setting (preferred)
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
