Junior Librarian


As a Junior Librarian, you will be responsible for assisting patrons with research, locating materials, and maintaining the organization of the library. Your main duties will include checking books in and out, shelving books, organizing materials according to the Dewey Decimal System, and providing excellent customer service to library users. You will also be responsible for creating engaging displays and promoting library programs and events. This is an entry-level position suitable for recent library science graduates or individuals with limited experience in a library setting.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of the Dewey Decimal System
- Familiarity with online databases and research tools
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $1200 per month for this full-time position.
