Entry-Level Executive Chef
As an entry-level Executive Chef, you will have the opportunity to work under the direction of our experienced chefs and gain hands-on experience in managing a professional kitchen. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about cooking and eager to learn the ins and outs of being a successful executive chef.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing menu plans that align with our restaurant's vision and standards
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to established recipes and food safety guidelines
- Participate in kitchen management tasks such as inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff to ensure quality and consistency in food preparation
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new dishes or improve existing ones
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred
- Passion for cooking and eagerness to learn from experienced chefs
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Physical stamina and endurance to stand for extended periods of time, lift heavy objects, and work in hot environments
Salary: $1700 per month
City: Faroe Islands (relocation assistance may be provided)
