English Teacher

We are hiring a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Os, Norway. As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing engaging lesson plans that promote language learning and development. You will work with students of all ages and skill levels, providing them with a supportive and enriching learning environment.

Responsibilities:
- Develop lesson plans and curriculum that align with the school's objectives and cater to different learning styles.
- Teach English language skills including grammar, reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
- Utilize various teaching methods and materials to make lessons interactive and interesting.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluation activities such as quizzes, exams, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their language skills.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student progress and any areas of concern.
- Collaborate with other teachers to plan cross-disciplinary activities or events.
- Stay updated on current teaching methodologies and incorporate new techniques into the classroom.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Teaching experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of grammar rules, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles.
- Patience, empathy, and strong classroom management skills.
- Willingness to work with students of all ages and skill levels.

Salary: $1600 per month

Contract: This is a contract job with an initial duration of one year. Renewal of contract is subject to performance evaluation.

Accommodation: We provide accommodation for our teachers near the school campus.

Visa & Ticket: We will sponsor your visa application process. A one-way ticket will also be provided for successful candidates who are not currently based in Norway.
