Job Title: Experienced Truck Driver for Contract Position in Akron

We are a reputable transportation company seeking an experienced truck driver to join our team on a contract basis in Akron. This position is open to candidates of all nationalities, and visa sponsorship is available for qualified individuals. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials across different locations.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of the truck and trailer
- Safely load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Transport goods and materials between designated locations in a timely manner
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays
- Keep accurate records of mileage, hours of service, fuel consumption, and other required documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Perform routine maintenance on the truck and report any issues or malfunctions immediately

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass drug/alcohol screenings as required by DOT regulations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
- Must be physically fit to perform loading/unloading tasks as needed

Salary:
This is a contract position with a competitive salary of $1300 per week. Payment will be made on a weekly basis.

Working Conditions:
This is an English-speaking job for Indians. The working schedule may vary depending on delivery schedules, but you can expect to work up to 50 hours per week. As this is a contract position, accommodation will not be provided. However, we do offer visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
