Data Mining Specialist

As a Data Mining Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets and extracting valuable insights to drive business decisions. Your main duties will include designing and implementing data mining processes, using statistical methods to identify patterns and trends, and creating reports and visualizations to present findings. You will also collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and provide solutions to support their objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, experience with data mining tools and techniques, and excellent communication skills. This position is located in La-Condamine, but remote work options may be available.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics or data mining
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases such as Oracle or MySQL
- Experience using data mining tools such as Python or R
- Knowledge of statistical methods such as regression analysis and clustering
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex information in a clear manner

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Data Science or related field
- Experience working with biometric passport data or other sensitive information
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Salary: $1200 per month (negotiable depending on qualifications)
