Head Baker


Our bakery in Al-Rayyan is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Baker to lead our team and ensure the production of high-quality baked goods. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for creating and executing new recipes, managing inventory and ordering supplies, maintaining equipment and sanitation standards, and overseeing a team of bakers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop new recipes for baked goods and oversee the production process
- Manage inventory levels and place orders for supplies
- Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of equipment
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Train and supervise a team of bakers, including scheduling shifts and delegating tasks
- Monitor product quality to maintain consistency in taste, appearance, and portion size
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate orders for events or special requests
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in baking techniques

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Baker or similar role
- Extensive knowledge of baking techniques, recipes, ingredients, and equipment
- Ability to create new recipes while maintaining consistency in product quality
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory levels and scheduling shifts effectively
- Attention to detail to ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other departments

Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Baker
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred

Salary: $1600 per month
