Fitter - Contract Position (US)



We are currently hiring a skilled Fitter for a contract position in the US. As a Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and repairing various mechanical systems and equipment. This includes reading and interpreting blueprints, using hand and power tools, and ensuring all components are properly aligned.

Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Fitter
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine assembly procedures
- Use hand and power tools to assemble, install, or repair mechanical systems and equipment
- Ensure all components are properly aligned according to specifications
- Perform quality checks to ensure work meets industry standards
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during assembly or installation process

This is a contract position with an urgent need for immediate start. The salary for this role is $1600 per week with accommodation provided.
