Unity Developer

We are hiring a skilled Unity Developer to join our team in Braga. As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining high-quality games and interactive experiences for various platforms. You will work closely with designers, artists, and other developers to bring their ideas to life. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of game development principles, experience with Unity development tools, and the ability to problem-solve and think creatively. This is a contract position with the possibility of extension. Candidates without experience are welcome to apply, but must have their own visa or work permit for Braga.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with designers and artists to create engaging gameplay experiences
- Develop and implement game mechanics, systems, and features using Unity
- Conduct testing and debugging to ensure a high level of quality in all aspects of the game
- Optimize game performance for various platforms
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in game development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong proficiency in C# programming language
- Experience using Unity development tools (Unity 3D, 2D Toolkit, etc.)
- Knowledge of game design principles and methodologies
- Familiarity with mobile games development
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese proficiency is a plus)
Salary:
The salary for this position is $1200 per month.

Location:
This is an on-site position located in Braga. Remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.
