Floral Designer


As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful and unique floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and special events. You will work closely with clients to understand their vision and translate it into stunning floral designs that meet their expectations and budget. This role requires a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create customized floral arrangements based on client preferences and event theme
- Source high-quality flowers from suppliers and ensure they are properly stored
- Use various tools and techniques to arrange flowers in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Provide guidance to clients on the selection of flowers, colors, and styles
- Ensure timely delivery of arrangements to event venues or clients' homes
- Maintain inventory levels and track expenses to ensure profitability
- Collaborate with other team members to come up with new design ideas
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into designs

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, their seasonality, and care instructions
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to understand client needs and provide recommendations
- Strong time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Creative mindset with an eye for color, texture, and design aesthetics
- Physical endurance to stand for long periods of time while arranging flowers

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in floral design or related field is a plus
- Previous experience working in a flower shop or event planning company is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic business principles such as budgeting, invoicing, and inventory management

Salary: $1200 per month (with accommodation)
Location: Alta (open to all genders)
