Floral Designer/Arranger


We are in need of an experienced and creative Floral Designer/Arranger to join our team in Alta, Norway. As a Floral Designer/Arranger, you will be responsible for designing and arranging floral displays for various events and occasions. This is a contract position with a salary of $1200 per month. Accommodation is not provided, but visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create unique and visually appealing floral arrangements for weddings, parties, funerals, and other events
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and vision for the event
- Source and select high-quality flowers from suppliers
- Prepare flowers by cleaning, cutting, and arranging them according to design specifications
- Set up and decorate event spaces with floral displays
- Ensure timely delivery of arrangements to designated locations
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order new materials as needed
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new techniques in floral design

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Floral Designer/Arranger or similar role
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Creative flair and ability to design unique arrangements
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients
- Physical dexterity for handling delicate flowers
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal training or certification in floral design
- Previous experience working with wedding or event planners
- Familiarity with different cultural customs surrounding floral arrangements
