QA Engineer - Software Testing (St-Petersburg, India)


We are currently hiring a QA Engineer to join our team in St-Petersburg, India. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of our software products. This is a contract position with accommodation and visa sponsorship provided.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test cases based on functional and technical specifications
- Identify and report defects in a timely manner
- Conduct regression testing to ensure software updates do not cause new issues
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues
- Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on potential quality risks
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in software testing

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester
- Experience with manual testing of web-based applications
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies
- Familiarity with bug tracking systems such as JIRA or Bugzilla
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Preferred:
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium or Appium
- ISTQB or other relevant certification
