Caregiver Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Assistant to join our team in Lisbon. As a caregiver assistant, you will provide support and assistance to our clients who may have physical or mental disabilities, chronic illnesses, or advanced age. This is a contract job with a salary of 1500$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Monitor clients' conditions and report any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Help with light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients on errands or appointments as needed
- Maintain accurate records of care provided

Requirements:
- No prior experience is necessary, but training or certification in caregiving is preferred
- Must have a caring and empathetic nature towards others
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
- Good communication skills in order to effectively communicate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid visa for working in Lisbon
