Senior Civil Engineer

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of civil engineering projects in the city of Shan, Kenya. You will be expected to use your extensive experience and knowledge to ensure the successful completion of all projects within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all phases of civil engineering projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies and develop project plans.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other team members to ensure project specifications are met.
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to meet project deadlines.
- Review and approve technical drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal requirements.
- Conduct site visits to inspect construction progress and quality of work.
- Prepare cost estimates for materials, equipment, and labor.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on the team.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil engineering projects.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and materials.
- Experience with project management software such as AutoCAD or BIM is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1700 per month. However, this can be negotiated based on qualifications and experience.

This position is based in the city of Shan, Kenya. All applicants must have a valid biometric passport or be willing to obtain one.
