Industrial Alpinist

An industrial alpinist is responsible for performing tasks at great heights and in difficult-to-reach locations, such as on tall buildings, bridges, and other structures. They use specialized equipment and techniques to access these areas and complete tasks such as maintenance, repairs, inspections, and installations. This role requires strong physical fitness, technical skills, and attention to safety protocols.

Responsibilities:
- Accessing tall structures using ropes, harnesses, and other equipment.
- Performing maintenance tasks such as cleaning, painting, welding, and repairs.
- Conducting inspections of structures to identify any issues or potential hazards.
- Installing equipment or materials in high locations.
- Ensuring all work is completed according to safety standards.
- Communicating with team members on the ground using radios or hand signals.
- Maintaining and inspecting personal equipment regularly.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in industrial alpinism or a similar field preferred.
- Proficiency in using specialized equipment such as ropes, harnesses, carabiners, etc.
- Physical fitness and strength to perform tasks at great heights for extended periods of time.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Excellent communication skills for working with team members on the ground.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid certifications for industrial alpinism (e.g. IRATA or SPRAT).
- Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

Salary: $1700 per month
City: Eschen
