Dietitian - Nutrition Specialist

We are in search of a highly qualified and experienced Dietitian, also known as a Nutrition Specialist, to join our team in Svalbard. As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to individuals and groups on proper nutrition and healthy eating habits.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' dietary needs and create personalized nutrition plans
- Educate individuals and groups on the importance of healthy eating habits
- Provide guidance on how to make healthy food choices while considering personal preferences and cultural backgrounds
- Monitor clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors and nurses, to ensure holistic care for clients
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in nutrition to continuously improve services provided

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dietitian or Nutrition Specialist
- Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex information in simple terms
- Empathetic attitude towards clients with different backgrounds and dietary needs
- Strong critical thinking skills to assess clients' needs and create effective nutrition plans
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting

We offer a competitive salary of 1300$ per month for this full-time position. This does not include accommodation, so the ideal candidate should already have suitable housing in Svalbard. This position is open to all genders, but we particularly encourage women to apply.
