Crane Operator
We are seeking a skilled crane operator to join our team in Eschen. As a crane operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating various types of cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites. You must have experience operating different types of cranes such as tower cranes, mobile cranes, and overhead cranes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of safety protocols and possess excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1400 per month.
As a crane operator, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Inspecting and maintaining the crane before use to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Operating the crane according to instructions from supervisors or signalers.
- Rigging loads correctly and attaching them to the crane.
- Maneuvering the crane into position using levers, pedals, or buttons.
- Monitoring load weights and adjusting the crane's movements accordingly.
- Following all safety procedures and protocols at all times.
- Communicating effectively with team members on the ground using hand signals or radio communication.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, including daily logs and maintenance reports.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid certification as a crane operator.
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating different types of cranes on construction sites.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
