Handyman for Property Maintenance

We are in need of a skilled and experienced Handyman to join our team in Svalbard for property maintenance. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for completing various tasks related to property maintenance, including but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general repairs. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge and experience in all of these areas.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine inspections of properties and identify any issues or necessary repairs
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general repairs
- Coordinate with contractors and other professionals for larger projects or specialized repairs
- Keep track of inventory and supplies needed for maintenance tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Communicate effectively with property owners and tenants to ensure their satisfaction with maintenance services

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Handyman or similar role
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and general repair techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Good communication skills in English (knowledge of other languages is a plus)
- Attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple tasks at once
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects if necessary
- Good time management skills
