Typesetter - Contract Position in Kolding


We are searching for a skilled and experienced Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis in Kolding. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for setting type, creating layouts, and formatting text for various print and digital materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a passion for typography.

Responsibilities:
- Set type and format text according to design specifications
- Create layouts for various print and digital materials, including books, brochures, and advertisements
- Ensure accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Collaborate with designers to ensure visual consistency throughout projects
- Utilize software programs such as Adobe InDesign and QuarkXPress to complete tasks
- Meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Typesetter or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of typography principles and design software (Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors in text
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Time-management skills to meet tight deadlines
- A portfolio showcasing your typesetting work is preferred
