Preservation Architect



The Preservation Architect will be responsible for preserving, restoring, and conserving historic buildings and structures in Lisbon. They will work closely with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure that preservation projects are carried out in accordance with historical and architectural standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting detailed assessments of historic buildings and structures
- Developing preservation plans and strategies
- Obtaining necessary permits and approvals from local authorities
- Overseeing preservation projects from start to finish
- Ensuring compliance with historical and architectural standards
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Conducting research on materials, techniques, and methods for restoration

Requirements:
- Degree in Architecture or similar field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in preservation architecture
- Strong knowledge of historical architecture and conservation principles
- Experience working with local authorities on preservation projects
- Excellent project management skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software
- Fluent in English (Portuguese proficiency preferred)

Salary: 1100$ per month
