Restaurant Manager
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant in Funchal. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high levels of customer service, managing and training staff, and ensuring the overall success of the restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including managing staff and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
- Train and supervise staff to ensure exceptional customer service is provided at all times.
- Develop strategies to increase revenue and decrease costs while maintaining high quality standards.
- Create schedules for staff, taking into account business needs and employee availability.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Handle any customer complaints or issues in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role is required.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a valid work permit for Funchal.
Education:
A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
Salary:
The salary for this position is 1700$ per month.
