Junior Android Developer (Part-Time)


We are a rapidly growing mobile app development company based in Almada, seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Android Developer to join our team. This is an exciting part-time opportunity for someone who is passionate about building innovative and user-friendly mobile applications.

Responsibilities:
- Work closely with our senior developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile development and implement new technologies as needed
- Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or currently pursuing)
- Strong knowledge of Java and the Android SDK
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
- A portfolio showcasing previous mobile app projects is a plus

Skills:
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Good communication skills in English (Portuguese language skills are a plus)

Salary: $1300/month (based on 20 hours per week)

Location: Almada, Portugal (candidates must have own visa/work permit)
