Facade Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team in La-Condamine. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facade engineering, with knowledge of structural design, materials, and construction methods. They will be responsible for designing and overseeing the installation of facades on buildings, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. The role also involves working closely with architects and contractors to ensure the facade design is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and within budget.

Responsibilities:
- Designing facades for new buildings or renovations
- Calculating load-bearing capacity and wind resistance of facades
- Selecting appropriate materials for the facade based on project requirements
- Creating detailed drawings and specifications for fabrication and installation
- Overseeing the fabrication process and ensuring quality control
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure the facade design meets all requirements
- Conducting site visits to inspect installation progress and address any issues that arise
- Staying updated on industry developments and advancements in facade technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum of 5 years experience in facade engineering
- Strong knowledge of structural design principles
- Proficient in CAD software
- Understanding of building codes and safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with a team
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Salary: 1300$ per month (with accommodation)

Location: La-Condamine (accommodation provided)
