Executive Chef for Fine Dining Restaurant in Fonvieille
We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a prestigious fine dining restaurant in the beautiful city of Fonvieille. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and create innovative and high-quality menus that align with our restaurant's concept and vision
- Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
- Manage inventory levels and ordering of supplies to maintain cost control
- Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation standards
- Monitor kitchen operations to ensure efficiency and quality control
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless dining experience for guests
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment at all times
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and introduce new techniques or ingredients to enhance dishes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a fine dining restaurant
- Culinary degree or equivalent training preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Proven track record of creating unique menus that reflect seasonality and local ingredients
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to enforce them in the kitchen
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with other departments within the restaurant
- Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for guests
