We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Developer to join our team in Svalbard. As a DevOps Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions that help automate processes and improve efficiency for our company. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy new features and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement automation tools and frameworks to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices are followed for code integration, testing, and deployment.
- Troubleshoot issues with software deployments, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
- Monitor system performance and make necessary improvements to optimize efficiency.
- Recommend new technologies, tools, and processes to improve the overall DevOps infrastructure.
- Work closely with project managers to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Developer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.
- Experience with automation/configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python or Ruby.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Azure is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: 1200$ per month with accommodation provided.
