Construction Manager


We are hiring a Construction Manager to join our team in Muscat, Oman. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all construction projects from start to finish. Your main duties will include planning and coordinating construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing budgets and timelines, and communicating with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage all construction projects
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budget estimates
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
- Monitor progress of projects and make necessary adjustments to ensure on-time completion
- Review and approve project budgets and expenditures
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality control and resolve any issues that may arise
- Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure everyone is working towards the same goals
- Keep stakeholders updated on project progress through regular reports and meetings
- Identify potential risks or delays in projects and develop contingency plans to mitigate them

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager or similar role in the construction industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects from start to finish
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively communicate with different stakeholders at all levels
- In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, contract management, budgeting, scheduling, etc.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g. Microsoft Project)
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Willingness to relocate to Muscat if not already residing in the city
- Valid work visa for Oman (sponsorship available)
- Indian nationality preferred but not required
- Ability to work without accommodation
